Jewel Jackson
Hey there! I’m Jewel Jackson, and I’m a professional barber. Senior Stylist for Kansas City Fashion Week. I’ve always had a passion for helping people look and feel their best. I used to work in construction, and I even had a stint at a jewelry store, but my true calling was to become a barber.
I remember when my dad asked me to cut his hair one day. That’s when I realized I had a knack for it. I prayed to God for guidance, and he blessed me with these hands that can work wonders on people’s hair. Whether it’s cutting hair or fitting someone for a custom suit, I love making people feel good about themselves.
My style is all about good vibes, laughter, and style. I’m grateful for the gifts God has given me, and I’m excited to share them with you!
Alicia
As a seasoned HR professional with over 15 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, Alicia brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as a Human Resources Business Partner. Her expertise spans various areas, including generalist experience, recruitment and retention, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations. Alicia holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and earned her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources Management. Her passion lies in ensuring that BeVel hires and retains the best people, creating an exclusive experience for our valued customers.

Kansas City born and raised, more than a Barber. I am a creator, educator, designer, and force of confidence. From cutting hair on my mother’s porch to building a career rooted in passion and purpose. I have spent the last 16 years delivering premium grooming experiences that go way beyond the chair.
I have been licensed as a Barber since 2009 and licensed as a Barber Instructor since 2015. I was educated under the care of Wayne Kindle, Shirley McDonald, Cathi Reyolds, Shenna Anderson, and in memory of Lavern Kindle. I am known for my elite attention to detail, professionalism, and next level consistency. I don’t just give haircuts, I strive to deliver precision, peace of mind, and a sense of total wellness by FORCE! Every appointment is custom-tailored, time-respected, and built to enhance not just your look, but your lifestyle too.
I am big on family so call me a Family man, Christlike, Bodybuilder love lifting heaving stuff and putting it back down, and Entrepreneur. I am the kind of barber who’ll have you feeling spiffy, sharp, and unstoppable – all without the last-minute cancellations or waiting games. I am building something bigger: an education platform for future professionals, a product line for client’s hair and grooming needs, a barbering franchise, a fitness gym, and a future seat at the state board – all driven by service, faith, and a heart for my people and community.
